BI Decided to Cut the Bi-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate by 25bps

The Bank Indonesia Board of Governors Meeting (RDG) on 17-18 June 2020 Decided to Cut the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) by 25 bps to 4.25%, the deposit facility interest rate by 25 bps to 3.50%, and Lending Facility Interest Rate of 25 bps to 5.00%. (Bank Indonesia) Applications for Unemployment Benefits in the U.S. Fell less than forecast last week, showing only gradual improvement from the worst of the pandemic related layoffs even as states reopen more of their economies. Initial Jobless Claims for Regular State Programs toted 1.51 million in the week ended June 13, down slightly from an upwardly revised 1.57 million in the prior period, Labor Department Figures Showed Thursday.
