Research

Danareksa Research Institute (DRI) again released its latest research through Dri`s Pulse Check in June entitled "Eid al -Fitr, the momentum of economic recovery". Special holiday savings are relatively low in 2021, which is 16.70% (survey dri). Increased consumption has an effect on improving the performance of the retail sector. The work of retail companies shows signs that are driven by rising sales of clothing and food and drinks. In addition, the improvement of the retail sector also encouraged improvement in manufacturing production in all sectors. In this research, Dri also stated that consumer optimism increased slightly ahead of the Eid al -Fitr in the midst of community concerns about the national economic conditions and also the availability of employment. Besides that, the consumer purchasing plan continues to increase in the 2-2021 quarter, although it has not yet recovered to the level before Pandemi. The interview is also interview with Roy N. Mandey, Chairperson of Aprindo who discusses "Resilience of the Retail Sector During Pandemi".
