Danareksa Research Institute (DRI) again released the monthly research of Dri’s Pulse Check with the title "The Role of Women Towards Equality". In the midst of unemployment that increases during Pandemi Covid-19, the level of work participation in women increases in all age groups. This indicates an increase in the role of women in its main economic activities to sustain the household economy. On the other hand, women`s access in work, health, and education continues to increase even though it is still lower than men. Increasing the role of women in the world of work is also reflected in the percentage of women who occupy managerial positions and portions of women in parliament. And the main task is to care for children. It is important to continue to increase the recognition of the values ​​of women in the household because the values ​​reflected in the equality index have a significant and positive correlation on the decision of women to work.
