PT Danareksa (Persero) through the Danareksa Research Institute (DRI) issued its latest research focused on the government`s strategy in reducing the impact of the Covid-19 with the title Dri’s Pulse Check September: "Reducing the impact of COVID-19". Pandemi Covid-19 has caused global economic growth to experience contractions during semester 1-2020. While the development of the Covid-19 vaccine is still ongoing, the role of the government to reduce the negative impact of Pandemi and to restore the economy is very important. In this research, media partners can see how much social protection program has an impact on the burden of the community. In this research, DRI provided information related to the latest economic conditions that caused a negative reaction after the announcement of the enactment of large -scale social restrictions (PSBB). DRI also presents data related to other economic indicators, such as any sector that triggers GDP contractions. In addition, you can also see CDS (Credit Default Swap) data (as of September 5), where the highest Indonesian CDS in the BBB rating class, so there is a chance for Indonesian CDS to decline close to the average CDS in the BBB rating class. Although the economy is now turbulent, public trust in the economy (IKK) and the government began to show an increase. In August 2020, IKK rose to level 74 was driven by consumer optimism on economic improvement and expectations of employment availability. Meanwhile, the confidence index towards the government has increased again and is maintained above level 100, in line with the policies taken by the government to handle Pandemi Covid-19 and price stabilization. While in the telecommunications sector, it is believed to remain interesting, with operators asked to help the government subsidy program, which can be an opportunity to access the student market.
