Danareksa Helps Restore the Economy Through the Food Processing Training For Women

Jakarta, January 13, 2022-To support the independence of women`s economy, especially in the Pandemic period, PT Danareksa (Persero) through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) of Women can Danareksa held a non-Glten-based food processing training activity in Antapani, Bandung, Bandung, West Java. This program is part of Danareksa`s support for the Ministry of SOEs who continue to strive to advance Indonesian UMK, especially in helping the development and debriefing to print new MSEs in the future. The activities that take place on January 13-27 2022 presented Dr. Herlina Marta, S.T.P., M.Si from the Faculty of Food Industry Technology, Padjadjaran University and Lecturer Institute of Independence Dompet Dhuafa. The training was opened by PT Danareksa Corporate Secretary (Persero), Putu Dewika Angganingrum, General Manager of the Dompet Dhuafa Sri Apriyanti Institute, and Antapani District Head Rahmawati Mulya at the Antapani District Office, Bandung, West Java (13/01). Corporate Secretary PT Danareksa (Persero), Putu Dewika Angganingrum said, "Danareksa is committed to supporting Indonesian women to be more independent by building a sustainable micro and small business (UMK). Apart from the UMK sector is dominated by women, the UMK sector is also one of the top priorities in the national economic recovery program. Therefore, we hold a non-gluten food processing training activity through the Women`s Program Danareksaagar can increase the entrepreneurial expertise of women in building a business that is in accordance with the development of the market that is now more focused on a healthy lifestyle. "In the training session, participants will participate in the future Non-Glten-based food processing activities. Participants will practice processing mocaf flour or cassava flour into brownies and biscuits, processing breadfruit flour into noodles, processing salted mustard greens into sauerkraut, and processing mushrooms into nuggets and shredded. Has great potential in improving the family economy, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic period. This collaboration with Danareksa hopefully can help participants create new UMKs that can improve the standard of living of the family. "Previously, Danareksa together with the Dompet Dhuafa Dompet Institute had also held similar activities in March 2020 in Bogor Regency, West Java and Tangerang, Banten. In this activity, participants received flour -based food processing training, nutmeg, cassava, bananas and chicken claws. In addition to getting production training, participants also received attractive packaging techniques and marketing systems to increase their product sales. "Participants will receive training as well as on the job training and mentoring before marketing the product. We hope that the debriefing program in the form of this training can help Indonesian women become more productive and independent. In the future, Danareksa also plans to continue similar training to other regions of Indonesia to reach more Indonesian women, "Dewika said.
