The Government of Indonesia to Hold Another SUN Auctions

Government of Indonesia will hold auctions of Government Debt Securities (SUN) on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 consisting of SPN03201015 (New Issuance), SPN12210429 (Reopening), FR0081 (Reopening), FR0082 (Reopening), FR0080 (Reopening), FR0083 (Reopening), FR0076 (Reopening). This auction target is the same as the earlier auction, which is an indicative target of IDR 20 trillion, and a maximum target of IDR 40 trillion. At the earlier SUN auction on June 30, 2020, the total incoming bids were IDR 72 trillion, of which the nominal won was IDR 20.5 trillion. The yields of 10-year Government Bonds reached 7.07% on Monday July 13, 2020, down 13 bps compared to the previous 2 weeks, which was 7.21% on June 30, 2020. Likewise, 5-year Government Bonds also decreased by 19 bps to 6.35% in the same period. The Government plans to issue one more foreign currency SBN in the second semester of this year, namely Samurai Bond denominated in Japanese Yen. If realized, the issuance of the Samurai Bond will be the second issuance by the Government this year. Previously in July, the Government has issued a Samurai Bond of JPY 100 billion consisting of 5 series. (Kontan)
