The Government of Indonesia prepares a fiscal buffer of Rp 60 trillion in the 2021 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBN). The budget is increased by Rp 50 trillion from this year"s fiscal reserve budget of only Rp 10 trillion. Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati stated that next year"s fiscal reserves will be used to anticipate the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has yet to show signs of ending.
