Kemenkeu Expands the Maximum Limit of the Budget Deficit for Next Year

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) expands the maximum limit of the budget deficit (APBD) for the next year cumulatively as well as for each region by 0.34% of the 2021 GDP projection. This APBD deficit limit is higher than in 2020 which was only 0.28% of the projection of GDP. The policy is stipulated in PMK Number 121 / PMK.07 / 2020 concerning the Maximum Cumulative Limits for Regional Income and Expenditure Budget Deficits, Maximum Limits for Regional Income and Expenditure Budgets, and Maximum Cumulative Limits on Regional Loans for Fiscal Year 2021.(Investor Daily) The Indonesian government will hold an auction for Government Securities (SUN) on September 8, 2020, consisting of series SPN03201209 (New Issuance), SPN12210909 (New Issuance), FR0086 (Reopening), FR0087 (Reopening), FR0080 (Reopening), FR0083 (Reopening), and FR0076 (Reopening).
